Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are an integral part of FOCUS

Approximately 250 people a year volunteer on a regular basis
at our agency. Although most of our volunteers are women,
men volunteer in many capacities, too. We use teenagers,
fraternities, seniors and service groups.

Whatever your skill, whatever your goal as a volunteer, there
is probably a place for you as a FOCUS volunteer.

Examples of Volunteer Opportunities:

Flea Market Volunteer - no set time commitment. Need volunteers to help process donated household goods and/or staff bi-monthly sales

• Administrative Support Volunteer - occasional help with data input and other support services

• Special Event Volunteer - Various time commitments - FOCUS has several fundraising events that require a wide range of talents and skills

• Professional Volunteers - Counselors, attorneys, business professionals needed to facilitate a variety of programs.

• Babysitting - various time commitments. Babysitters provide care for the children of the women in the Single Mom's Support Group. Group runs for 8 consecutive weeks for 1 1/2 hours.
